​A bit premature but that's okay. When there was not even a single class convened in KAUST, research without any library or online access started in our lab (late August 2009). Ramy was one of the accomplices! With a semester break in between his MS in Dec 2010 and Summer 2011, today he has successfully defended his PhD Dissertation in front of Cockrell Regents Chair of UT Austin Prof. Sanjay Banerjee, Prof. Lance Li and Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini. Tough panel, tough questions - Ramy sailed through and now heading as our newest alumni Dr. Ramy Qaisi bound to KACST (first recruit from KAUST)! Adios with the best wishes!
